Alison Drive – Monticello, Kentucky Roof Project

Big League Roofers was proud to complete the Alison Drive – Monticello, Kentucky roof project, delivering a full shingle roof replacement that restored dependable protection and gave this home a clean, updated appearance.

Project Overview

The existing roof had experienced storm damage and wind damage, along with granule loss, missing shingles, and visible algae discoloration. These issues had affected both the roof’s performance and the overall curb appeal of the home. After a full inspection, our team determined that a complete roof replacement was the best long-term solution to restore protection and improve the look of the property.

One unique feature of this project was the addition of new modified bitumen roofing on a low-slope section of the home. This low-slope facet was professionally addressed with a compatible roofing solution that ties in seamlessly with the main shingle roof, creating a clean, cohesive finished result.

Roofing System Installed

For this project, we installed a complete GAF roofing system designed to work together from the roof deck up, including:

  • GAF Timberline HDZ® Shingles in Slate

  • GAF Ice & Water Shield along vulnerable, leak-prone areas

  • GAF Synthetic Roofing Underlayment

  • New drip-edge metal

  • New GAF ridge vent system

  • New modified bitumen roofing on the low-slope section

The new drip-edge metal adds a crisp, finished accent that really helps define the roofline and elevate the overall look of the project. Paired with the Williamsburg Slate shingle color, the completed roof delivers a refined, architectural appearance that really complements the aesthetic of this home.

Project Timeline

The entire project was completed in 1 full day, with our crew working efficiently while keeping the jobsite clean, safe, and organized from start to finish.

Final Results

The final results are amazing. The new Slate roof color gives the home a rich, updated look, while the upgraded drip edge, improved ventilation, and seamless low-slope modified bitumen section contribute to a stronger, longer-lasting roofing system. This new roof not only resolved the storm-related damage and weathered appearance, but also enhanced the overall style and curb appeal of the property.
