Ponder Way – Nicholasville, Kentucky Roof Project

Big League Roofers was proud to complete the Ponder Way – Nicholasville, Kentucky roof project, delivering a full shingle roof replacement that restored dependable protection and gave this home a clean, updated appearance.

Project Overview

The existing roof had experienced storm damage and wind damage, along with granule loss, missing shingles, and visible algae discoloration. Because this was a steep-slope roof, those issues created even more concern for long-term performance and water shedding. After a full inspection, our team determined that a complete roof replacement was the best long-term solution to restore protection and improve the overall look of the property.

Roofing System Installed

For this project, we installed a complete GAF roofing system designed to work together from the roof deck up, including:

  • GAF Timberline HDZ® Shingles in Weathered Wood

  • GAF Ice & Water Shield along vulnerable areas of this steep-slope roof

  • GAF Synthetic Roofing Underlayment

  • New flashing throughout

  • New chimney flashing

  • New drip-edge metal

  • New GAF box vent system

The updated flashing, chimney flashing, and drip-edge metal add a crisp, finished accent that really helps define the roofline and elevate the final appearance of the project. Paired with the Weathered Wood shingle color, the completed roof delivers a warm, dimensional look that really complements the aesthetic of this home.

Project Timeline

The entire roof replacement was completed in 1 full day, with our crew working efficiently while keeping the jobsite clean, safe, and organized from start to finish.

Final Results

The final results are amazing. The new Weathered Wood roof color gives the home a rich, natural look, while the upgraded metal details and improved ventilation contribute to a stronger, longer-lasting roofing system. This new roof not only resolved the storm-related damage and weathered appearance, but also enhanced the overall style and curb appeal of the property.
